The 15-year-old gay Oregon boy who had been put on life support after hanging himself from school playground equipment has died. An Oregon Health and Science University spokesman confirmed that Jadin Bell died early Feb. 3 at the Portland hospital, according to the Associated Press. The teen, who was said to have been a victim of bullying because he was gay, had attempted to hang himself Jan. 19 at an elementary school playground in La Grande. He was rushed to an area hospital before being airlifted to Portland, and was eventually taken off of life support on or around Jan. 29, according to reports.
